  Below you can see some examples of boat-trips.

Boat-trip 1

 You will be taken aboard at the harbour, in Tasiilaq, Kummiut or Kulusuk at 10 am, and we will sail in direction of the Semmerlik Fjord - the second broadest fjord in Greenland.

 Our first stop will be at the now deserted settlement of Ikatek, where we will visit the old church and the schoolhouse, which both look as when they were still in use.

 Then we will sail northwards to Tinit - a small settlement with approximately 100 inhabitants. This settlement is situated in a beautiful area right out to the Semmerlik Fjord, where huge icebergs are floating along. Here you will have time for buying refreshments before we will continue longer into the fjord.

 On our way, you can enjoy the view of impressive icebergs as we look out for a suitable place to go ashore to enjoy our packed lunch, after which we will go on - and if we are lucky we might see some seals.

 Around 5 pm, we will be back at the harbour from which we started.

 Leaving from the harbour at 9 am (Tasiilaq, Kummiut or Kulusuk) we will sail towards the Ammassalik Fjord where we at certain times of the year can be fortunate to see whales.

 First stop will be at the deserted American base at Ikatek. Here we can see the old landing strip, old lorries left by the Americans and the collapsed hangar.

 From there we will continue to the Knud Rasmussen Glacier, where we will turn off the engine and with some luck, we might see the ice break.

 Lunch will be enjoyed ashore.

 Around 6 pm we will return to Tasiilaq, Kummiut or Kulusuk.
