My name is Lars Anker Moller and I would like to welcome you to my homepage, which I hope will inspire you to make the travel of your life to East-Greenland.
I myself came to this place back in 2001 as a sales manager for Greenlandic Stamps in Tasiilaq.
In 2004 I became a full-time hunter, and have since then been living of the fish and seals I can sell at "Braettet" (a kind of local market, where hunters sell the products they catch).
During my hunting trips, I have had sufficient time for developing a deeper understanding for the life as a hunter, and for the traditions connected to this life. This resulted in a photo-book called "The Hunters in Ammassalik", which was published three years later.
In 2007, I invested in a tour-boat, which I named "Nuna". This became the start of a tourist project, involving hunters from the Ammassalik area. They have helped me with logistics both summer and winter.
East Greenland is one of the few places left in Greenland where you can still experience "The Real Greenland". The culture is still strong here where life follows the heartbeat of nature.
spite of the fast growing effect from global heating. An effect, which is felt more here than anywhere else in the world.
There are numerous possibilities such as: hiking, hunting, dog-sledge tours, cross country skiing, etc, or simply enjoying the fantastic experience of watching the daily life in the settlement. Eastern Greenland is a paradise for photographers and painters, full of cultural motives, nature and animals.
